Loyola College’s Department of Computer Science Recently hosted a
transformative workshop titled " Personal Branding and Networking for
Career Success," by Quest Core aimed at empowering final year computer
science students with essential tools for their professional futures.
The
workshop explored vital topics such as the significance of personal branding,
the value of a well-crafted resume, and effective strategies for creating
impactful resumes. Industry experts Sandeep from 09 Solutions India Pvt Ltd and
Nagaraju Sesham from Deutsche Telekom AG shared their insights, engaging
students with interactive discussions and hands-on resume creation exercises.
Attendees
not only deepened their understanding of personal branding but also acquired
practical skills essential for navigating the competitive job market. The event
was enthusiastically received, offering students a platform to enhance their
professional presence and forge meaningful connections.
Additionally,
participants had the opportunity to network with industry experts through video
conferences and one-on-one interactions, allowing them to establish valuable
professional relationships and gain firsthand knowledge from seasoned
professionals.
The
program received strong support from Mr. SAB Nehru, Head of the Department, and
senior faculty member Mr. T. Kamalakar Raju, who emphasized the importance of
branding in today’s competitive job landscape. The meticulous organization of
the event was led by staff coordinator Ms. K. Aparna, along with dedicated
faculty members from the computer science department.
This
workshop not only enhanced students' understanding of personal branding but
also equipped them with the necessary skills to navigate the job market
effectively. The event was well-received, setting a strong foundation for the
students’ career success.
